Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Senior Move Guide ("we", "us", or "our") operates www.seniormoveguide.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website.
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you contact us or request introductions to Senior Move Managers. A request may include your name, email address, phone number, current-home ZIP code, optional destination ZIP code, timing, project situation, requested services, home status and size, and notes you choose to provide. The public directory and cost-planning tools can still be used without submitting a request.
We also collect standard website analytics data (such as pages visited, time on site, and general location) through anonymized analytics tools.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries
- To process a matching request, research possible providers, route it to selected providers, and confirm what happened with the request
- To improve the content and functionality of our site
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties
Introduction Requests and Sharing
If you submit a matching request and check the required authorization, we may share the details you submitted, including your contact information, with up to three selected Senior Move Managers when we identify a credible fit. Providers receive the request by email and may contact you directly. If we do not identify a provider we can confidently email, we do not share your details and direct you to the public directory instead.
Senior Move Managers are independent businesses. Sharing a request is not an endorsement, guarantee of availability, or guarantee of service quality. Do not submit medical records, financial account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in the notes field.
Service Providers
We use service providers to host the site and database, send transactional email, process general location from a ZIP code, assist with public provider research, and measure site activity. These providers process information on our behalf for those functions. A ZIP code may be sent to a location service to identify its city, state, and approximate coordinates.
Our AI-assisted provider research receives the project city, state, ZIP code, optional destination area, timing, situation category, requested service categories, home status, and approximate home size. We do not send the family's name, email address, phone number, street address, or free-text notes to the research tool. Contact information and notes are shared only with the selected Senior Move Managers covered by your authorization.
Cookies
Our site may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics and functionality purposes. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies. Note that some parts of the site may not function properly if you do so.
Data Retention
We retain introduction requests, routing records, provider responses, and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, prevent duplicate or abusive requests, evaluate routing quality, maintain business records, and meet legal requirements. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold by contacting us. Some records may be retained where legally required or reasonably necessary to document consent, prevent abuse, or resolve disputes.
Children's Privacy
Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
